Rebekah Arrington offers five years of experience in City Planning and Zoning as an NPU Community Officer, working under the administration of Atlanta, Georgia's Principal City Planner Mr. Larry Lucas and Mayor Bill Campbell.
In Atlanta, she served as a team member and personal assistant on Mayor Maynard Jackson's Task Force for the Homeless on Pine Street, collaborating with his appointed Community Engagement Director and Field Coordinator Mr. Joe Houston, Assistant to Executive Director Mrs. Anita Beatty, in preparation for hosting Atlanta's first World Olympic Games in 1996.
Her lobbying efforts began well before she ascended the steps of Georgia's Capitol, advocating for educational reform in the realm of Character Education. This was a five-year endeavor aimed at the interpersonal development of K-12 students under the administration of Governor Roy Barnes.
